Mathias Gerhardt

Mathias Gerhardt is a Manager Operations – Value Creation at FairCap, working closely with portfolio companies on site to drive operational improvements and implement value creation initiatives. Before joining FairCap, he spent over a decade in entrepreneurial founder and C-level roles across the German start-up ecosystem, most recently serving as COO of a Munich-based recruitment firm specialising in advising impact-focused scale-ups throughout Europe. He broadened his operational exposure in a German industrial SME, serving as project lead for operational excellence initiatives.

Mathias studied at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and holds a B.A. in Corporate Management & Economics.
