Timo Hermans is an Investment Manager at FairCap. Previously, he was part of the investment team at Vertevis Capital Partners, where he focused on buyouts, growth investments and selected special situations involving small-cap and lower-mid-market companies. His role at Vertevis spanned the full transaction lifecycle - from sourcing and investment analysis - including financial and LBO modelling - through due diligence, structuring and execution to post-closing strategic planning.
Earlier in his career, he worked in corporate venturing at 27pilots, a Deloitte company. There he led projects with SaaS and hardware start-ups advising corporates on the integration of AI, deep tech and industrial technology solutions.
He holds a double degree in Management and Technology from TUM and DTU, specialising in mechanical engineering and finance, as well as a Certificate in Business and Economics from Sciences Po.
